The one thing I hate about galleries... I keep hiding and un-hiding my old work. Of course people get better over time, but do you just trash the old stuff? Since I don't post enough to push the old stuff to the back, that's all people see.

I only post the "anime drawing" things here at DA, because no one wants to see a boring charcoal bottle rendering. No really, you don't.

Er. Sorry for being a lurker.
The doujinshi has been successfully printed and is absolutely *gorgeous*, I'm so proud of everyone~ ^^ They sold great at Kawaii-kon and we've got a bunch of positive feedback. A few copies are still up for grabs at the site, get 'em while you can!

As for RL news, I'll be going to the Academy of Art in San Fran this coming semester. I've decided to solidify my decision of art as a career and this seems like it will be a big boost in the right direction. Hopefully I will still have time to pursue it as a hobby as well through more CG art and side projects.

Good-bye Hawaii, I will miss all my friends and family here.

Sorry I've been so inactive, I just don't have time to do CG work at the moment. Classwork, small art jobs and the doujin are my life. (OK not really.) But, I am really looking forward to my first life drawing class next semester! Wish me luck! XD

Everyone had better be watching Death Note; Madhouse animation WINS. It gives me the chills (even after reading the manga)!! Plus, Miyano Mamoru is uber smexy. <-my new seiyuu crush

The group doujin is going to be released next Spring. It will be available at Kawaii-kon but we'll also be taking pre-orders online. The website is down at the moment but I should be uploading some inked frames soon... eventually...

KAWAII-KON WAS AWESOME!!
It was great meeting everyone in the artist alley, so many talented artists! ^.^
I feel sorry to the people I gave commissions to now. Like, was I in my right mind when I drew those??
It was hard work but totally worth the two-hour wait in registration. And thanks to all who supported us and bought our Assorted Truffle doujinshi! (Especially to those not too excited over shounen-ai. XD) We're glad we could share our insanity with you.~

This summer will be known as the "自分を探しの夏休み" or "Summer Vacation of Self-Discovery"... Following in the footsteps of the beloved Takemoto-kun (of ハチクロ ) I will attempt to delve into my soul and discover the meaning of life. Well, at least my life. Art major? (Animation? Photography? Drawing? <-yes, drawing is now a major)? Mainland art college? Run away to Japan and live in a cardboard box as an illegal alien?
... In any case, I will spend a lot of time building up my sad excuse for an art portfolio, so expect a lot of uploads in the near future. ^__~
